Engineers and Technicians of all grades are required to undertake continuing appropriate training. In the case of degree courses, this must contain the equivalent of at least four years of full-time study within a recognised body of engineering education. At the higher levels of membership, specific periods of practical experience and further qualification(s) are also required, as outlined in Membership Grades & Status page. or the Membership Grades Qualifications & Documentation requirements for Application.
