Honorary Fellow Any person whom the Institution desires to honour for his/her distinguished work as a professional engineer or for his/her exceptional and important services in connexion with engineering or to the Insitution. An Honorary Fellow is not required to pay a subscription. No more that one honorary fellow may be ellected in any one year. Companion Any person whom the Institution wishes to honour for his/her
service to the engineering profession may be made a Companion of the
Institution, i.e. any person, not being an engineer by profession, who
has rendered service to the engineering profession in any capacity whatsoever
and is a suitabliy qualified person in his own sphere or whose admission
would be conducive to the interests of the institution. A Companion
is not required to pay a subscription.
