Membership : Grades & Status : Fellow ...

Fellow
There are two possible routes to the grade of Fellow of the Institution:

Route 1: Members would normally be expected to progress to the Grade of Fellow when they have attained a superior position of responsibility. They must have held such a position for a minimum of five years. Applicants who are not already Members would have to satisfy the requirements for the grade of Member and in addition have held a position of superior responsibility for a minimum of five years.

Route 2: This provides direct admission to the Grade of Fellow of a person holding the equivalent grade of membership in another institution which is recognised by Council

Basic Qualification Criteria:
A Fellow,

  • Normally is of an age above 40 years (mature candidate) and above a lower age limit of 33 years,
  • Has the basic requirements for the grade of Corporate Member
  • Has been in a position of superior responsibility for at least five years, or
  • Has been in practice on his own account for at least seven years, or
  • Has been in a senior position in the educational field for at least five years, or
  • hab both experience on his own account and in a senior position in eductational field for a period considered as satisfactory.
