The Institution offers or hosts a number of personal development courses,
serminars and workshops each year. These provide an avenue through which
graduates, engineers, technicians or artisans can upgrade themselves.
The CPD programmes on offer are grouped as follows:
1. ZIE Graduate Engineering Diploma/Degree (GED)
This diploma/degree programme is being provided by ZIE which has establised
Centres for Continued Engineering Education inconjuction with local
Universities & Colleges. This diploma programme is similar to the
UK based Engineering Council programme used as a pre-requisite to Chartered
Engineering status. The programme is a 3 year programme with the Part
1 (1 year) leading to a Certificate in engineering and Part 2 (2 years)
leading to a Diploma/Degrees in Engineering. more...
