Approved Educational Institutions.
This is a list of educational institutions that have been approved by the council in terms of sub-paragraph ii of paragraph c of sub-section 1 of section 6 of the Institutions' regulations, which states "holds a university, college or school degree or diploma recognised by the council or has been educated as a professional engineer... ", as being a institution that provides appropriate training for professional engineers. This list was last up date in 1999.

Associated Engineering Organisations or Institutions.
These are other engineering organisations or institutions that have been approved by the council, that the their criteria for membership as a professional engineers and registration in the Zimbabwe Institution will be a simple transfer without interviews. This list was last update in 1999.

• List of Associated Enginnering Organisation or Institutions.

Affiliated Organisations or Institutions
These are organisations that have applied, vetted and have been registered with institution as being organisations that are affiliated to the Institution. These organisations or instutions are involved in engineering related activities, such as agriculture, mining, manufacturing, service provision e.g. consulatncy, or education & training. These organisations or institutions pay annual subscription, depending on the category they are registered into, and recieve certificates of affiliation to the institution.
